The Requiem for Roleplaying :: Neutral

Neutral characters are very concerned with the balance of the forces in the world. If one side, good or evil, law or chaos, nature or civilization, gains too much ground, they will typically side with the 'underdog' in order to set things back in balance. They may preserve the balance themselves by doing one good deed for every bad deed they do, and vice versa. They typically are very objective people who tend to look at the 'big picture', and who are always thinking three steps ahead of any action.

Neutral characters tend be content with watching other people grow as they will, only stepping in when that person is about to take a step over the line in one direction or the other. They tend to be very philosophical, and often will look for someone seeking direction, and help the person think things through.
