Posture

Posture skills can be used to enhance existing combat capabililties. Provided
you are successful with the skill, a common posture provides an additional
hitroll and damroll for a couple of hours. This is called upon by using the
posture command with no arguments:

> posture

Other more advanced posture skills can also be obtained.

The ranger posture can be called upon to increase hitroll and damroll as
well as to provide some additional armor class and stopping protections.

> posture ranger

The hunter posture provides additional increase to improved strength and
dexterity. This posture also provides some resistance to being bashed,
backstabbed and assassinated.

> posture hunter

The shaman posture provides significant additional Natural and other Focus.

> posture shaman

The beastlord posture increases your improved dexterity and charisma. It
also provides a significant damroll increase.

> posture beastlord

It is also possible to abort the current stance you are in:

> posture abort

You can only stay in a posture for a limited period of time and you become
exhausted and are unable to assume a new stance for a short duration.
