Monk Defenses

The 7 major monk defense strategies (basic defense, advanced defense, 
master's defense, Hajim's defense, Burdol's defense, expert defense
and grandmaster defense), while very different in nature, provide
similar protection (and are therefore accumulative). Once practiced
the skills will be used automatically, when appropriate, lowering the
monk's over all armor class. While these defenses can provide excellent
protection, the protection provided is not combined with other protective
gear (for armor class calculations).
