So just thinking... scary thing to do I know. I am wondering about the light sensitivity penalties for drow and deep gnomes. It makes perfect sense for them to experience it being on the surface and whatnot. My question is why is it still present when they go under ground? Obviously it is modify-able as it lessens slightly at night. However if I am a drow for example and I go into a cave or under the earth, why doesn't my dexerity increase. Why is it still blocked at let us say 24 if I oh I don't know; have enough uppers ot make it 28...heh (I know 28 isn't possible just making a little funny). If it is obviously affected by the sunlight, why isn't it affected by returning to underground realms. I don't see this as too terribly hard to change, set it to room type I suppose. although maybe it is hard and I don't know. Just something to chew on. Much love peoples of DL!

When any race that suffers from light sensitivity is in complete darkness, they suffer no penalties. Complete darkness requires no items providing light and there cannot be an exit to light outside. If you find otherwise, it may be possible a room is incorrectly flagged or something.
