Nezmar asked me several days ago if I thought that the maximum number of available consignment slots should be increased. Foolishly I said it was pretty good like it is. Well after looking at the brand new 225k storage container I bought for my house. Which is entirely for holding items to go on consignment I can't help but wonder if I jumped the gun on saying it was good. What I'm really wondering is if people have the same situation going on. Waiting for items to clear consignment so you can go a head and add more.

I voted yes but Im really sitting on the fence on this.

If I have 40 items on consignment, or the current 20 items on consignment, and they aren't selling then it's really of no benefit to me.

I think 20 is a reasonable, even if not perfect number in my eyes.

Generally, if things don't sell for a little bit it's not a bad idea to just donate them. There's nothing wrong with returning stuff to the system. I don't think a few extra slots would hurt, but it wouldn't be good to tie up items in limbo if they're not selling.

Yah, well I still think we should have a few more slots open for sale...but still what I like to do is just put items for less money if they aren't selling. Better for the consumer, isn't it? But still more slots open for the seller, more slots open for the buyer? anyone agree?

Yes for me. But, I also think that the time to pick up the item from consignment after it doesn't sell should be cut down considerably. If I put up an item for 5k and it goes however many weeks in consignment and no one buys it, and during that time I chose not to retrieve it, I don't need another month to decide if I want to pick it back up to sell it again later. I would just let it purge and go back into the game for someone else to load.
