Once again my character is faced with permi death, and after gaining lesser lord status. I have died 10 times and lost 8 con. I give the game the benefit of the doubt but I think record is actually 10 deaths 9 con loss. So is the con loss system fair? Nope. I get stuck somewhere, get shrieked without seeing it cast, or just plain dumb luck and i loose con every time. I sure did enjoy the loss of levels last time instead of con loss. Not to mention don't you get chances of lower hp gains when you level and are below 99 if your con keeps going down. It appears Gydin will sit around with lower level eq on until he can get some more con back through various means.

While I understand your chagrin, as I'm sure most people, player and staff alike would, constitution loss from dying is here to stay. I realize your frustration with this, and how you may deem it as unfair, but as it's an issue everyone has to deal with I don't particularly think it's unfair.

There simply just has to be a way to even out the game. Characters that live forever, without any penalties (besides the previously stated experience loss before the constitution loss was implemented) simply takes more away from the game than it gives. An example of this would be the multitudes of Demi-Gods in the prewipe days that had a substantial amount of things locked away that wasn't being used. With the introduction of constitution loss and possibility of permanently dying, it helps remove posibilites such as this.

That said, there's a pretty good array of ways people can reobtain constitution, which helps this matter a lot. Perhaps you should look into these options a little?

It does seem to be getting easier to get some con back through mpp. I have some mpp and just need a little bit more and I'll be back up to 3 whole con. Big man Kyo deals with con loss constantly but still seems to get it back as well. I'm not too bothered by it any more but I would like to see more con flasks loading around DL.

Yeah...we are back to this issue again.
I'd really like to see some more flasks could
be poped. But actually for all barbarian friends
it is really tough to get con back since i am the
highest level barbarian in the world but still
couldnt able be quaff the flasks.

I am so glad i am part of DL as always, and i
have many fun here. Kyo is really like part of
myself coz it was with me for mostly everyday of
my life for about 2 more years. I do think staffs
could understand the feeling like part of self
might disappear someday closely. With really low
con i am so afraid to going anywhere that to take
some fun challenge and to see what kyo could
achieve.

So i really like to say, if by any chance DL could
loose the measurement of con lost and back.

I let that remind me, all those years I played dungeon hack, I put it on perma-death setting. Which is alot worste than in dl. Mainly because if you kill your character just once, (unless you saved prior, which is horrid cheat method to this prediciment) you could never roll that race/class again until you reset the entire game.

Having shared that computer with two other players, we never reset it much. I only permakilled my human paladin to the dragon on the 20th level of one dungeon. Some reason that bastard could portal back to the entrances of the upper dungeon, he caught me on a backup retreat and snapped me in half. .

Anyways. I'd like to see more of you die
why, because it's one of the many features.

I can loose apart of myself, and continue. Having my first avatar; I don't care if your a Greater Lord and die. All that achievement came with it up's and if you arn't willing to let go and sacrifice well that just goes to show how raw a player you really are.

Equipment dosn't make me, the corresponding level does show my courageousness. It's the RP and murder that I thrive on.

In fact, I'm really curious. Has anyone one else suicided their character when it reached one con? Or do you all keep them as backup trophies for an era that once was. .
