While races are diverse in Distant Lands, in the end they all seem to balance out for the most part. I'd like to propose a new twist on races.
Currently, our max attributes are 25. I think that modifying this a little bit would add some more purpose to races. It is my opinion, that races that receive bonuses and penalties, should actually have the bonuses and penalties. For instance, a half cloud-giant, with the penalties and bonuses of +3 Strength, +3 Constitution, -3 Intelligence, -3 Wisdom, and -2 Dexterity would be able to attain the maximum stats of 28 strength, 22 intelligence, 22 wisdom, 23 dexterity, 28 constitution, 25 charisma, and 25 luck.
Since all the stats are basically based on humans, with an average every day human being 10-11, I think that these stat changes could better reflect the bonuses and penalties of being said races.
