I think its about time we put the MORT back in immortal... my new idea, lets make a temple devoted to Mortius!! eh? *Kidding*

But Seriously :P staff deities, love the idea, anything still going on with it?

I really think it could be sped up if we kept current staff names, wouldn't that make it so much easier?

IE Vulsin makes a neutral background, makes a temple, writes a room description for it, makes a rockin priest with a mohawk and other cool gothic emo looks. Drop the priest in the room, voila, we now have a religion devoted to Vulsin.

Now whenever Vulsin decides to "pop" by the fountain, he can flip on his RP flag if he so wishes and roleplays the god known as Vulsin, with powers and all. Meanwhile, mortals can flip on their RP flag and attempt to win his favour and become a part of his following.

Does the code as it stands now not allow this? I think it does? Mortals do RP backgrounds and descriptions, i think staff could have a little fun and do the same and still maintain their character names? That way they show up on who and can have followings.

Any bugs on why this couldn't work now? Bad idea? Just not the way staff wanna do it? Love to hear feedback.

Mortius

PS if you really wanna make a temple for Mortius.... I expect macro flavoured worshipping servants at all times

As I've already posted many times, though it appears nobody was paying attention...

THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

I really didn't mean to be so negative, I was just very busy. I suppose I really should take a few minutes to explain what I have setup in regards to Deities though, because they've recently received a fair amount of attention (they still need quite a bit more, but it will happen in time). I've set it up so that we can reserve an NPC (Deity) so that it can only be controlled by specific Staff members. I've added the ability to "pray silently" and "pray vocally" while you are roleplaying, when you do this, or tithe your Deity has the possibility of gaining Karma points which they can then eventually spend to bestow powers (which are yet to be created) upon you which you can then invoke and possibly teach to others. There is still a lot of the "building" aspect of this that needs to be done (such as making a bunch of macros), but it will happen eventually and when it does, it will be pretty cool, I do believe, so I thought you might want to know about it if you didn't already.

Best regards,
