It's no secret that I've been working on a DL client that will run with only a web browser. Soon I plan to upload a skeleton of the client (non-functional) so you guys can tell me what you want added, removed or changed. I want this to be as player-friendly as possible, so to achieve that I will need as much input from you guys as possible.

Here's what I would like from you all at this point:

What features would you like to see? (no aliases, triggers or macros)

Should the hp, mana, etc be displayed as bars, percentages, numbers, a combination of two, or selectable by the player?

What would you like to be able to control in the game by clicking in a browser?

What information should be readily available in the browser window? Should your str, con, etc be always displayed in the window, for example.

Nezmar and I have been kicking this idea around for some time now, and I want to make it happen relatively soon. Maybe it can be a DL Christmas present if I'm feeling ambitious enough

I would like to see: (aside from hp, mana, gold, etc) (which could be a stat bar or numbers, user selectable)

current stats (str, int, dex wis, etc)
Armor rating/stopping
experience to next level.
Current affecting spells.

Possibly a list of group members, with maybe basic stats like hp, moves.

I'd suggest throwing all that stuff on a sidebar somewhere.

If you wanna get crazy with features, a stand-alone inventory list, and a current equipment list, which could add/remove armor/items/weapons with a click interface.

IE:

Inventory:
A bag of holding
->an item in the bag of holding
A bronze tube
-> an item in the bronze tube(click to examine, doubleclick to pull out and equip?)

Equipment:
Head: Item (condition) (click to examine, doubleclick to remove?)
Body: Item

It's an idea, I'd also like a user-customizeable panic button.

Clicking the panic button results in either flee, or maybe burns a recall in your inventory. (standard mishaps apply, IE - unable to flee, recall dissolves, nothing happens)

Those are my thoughts after about 5 minutes of pondering.

It will be a constant work-in-progress as new features will be added as new things are added to DL. I want to get it up and working before I start going bonkers with adding "drag and drop" inventories and such. The main thing is to get it online

I'll be uploading the skeleton for it soon, not sure when. This has been my pet project for some time, and it's high time I get this from paper to practice
