Ok, am I the only one who has ever wondered about the backstories to some of our more famous NPCs? Like did the builder have anything in mind when they were created. I think this could be cool to have a little mini library of short backgrounds for some of the major NPCs in the game. This could be player done (to be reviewed by staff of course, and maybe a reward for writing a good one... MPPs, apples, etc...) or done by the staff. However, I think you guys have enough to do. Best, the builders themselves. I'd like to explore this topic; it could add a whole other level to RP. Knowing more about who you are RPing with whether a PC or NPC makes it more rich and dare I say, funner. Just thinking about ways to add a little more meat to the DL world. Code is being worked on now to make NPCs more interactive without staff needing to be involved. Give us time please. Staff is spread very thin and there is lots of work to do. We are trying.

In some fashion this can and is already done. Builders are able to create "Backgrounds" for NPCs. When staff members take control of a NPC with a background, they automatically read that background. There is currently no way to update it (except I could personally go into the editor and update/modify what the builder put). In the future, I hope to have some type of board-like communication system that would make it easier to keep track of RP plot lines for a particular NPC. However, this is unfortunately some ways off.

For the immediate ... you could always use this forum, especially for background ideas.
