Hey, this would be a lesser request, but what the
quacamole.
Pour, if you're teamates out of water; give em
yours!. Filled up waterskin elsewhere and wana
top it off at another source. Pour waterskin
out.
I don't think I've been courageous enough
to try pouring a potion or vial, just
tons of boose, water, and other liquids.
Perhaps we could expand the use of glass
containers to pour and consolidate more than
just these liquids.
In terms, a glass jar, and you've got
seven purple vials you plan on using.
While using a pour vial jar command would
disperce the vial from one's inventory
after usage, or maybe just leaving a
glass jar.
Maybe spicen it up and allow mages
to mix concoctions and make a glass
jar filled with a mixing of spells
chosen for a designated purpose.

Uptmost though please. In rocksport you gave me Cornell, that rocks! Secondly you gave me mocha
and coffee, darn you're really good. I can't
complain that the blueberry muffins arn't ther nor
the cookies; come prepared right? But, with the pour
command, could we add pour sugar packets, and you'd
taste something besides pitch black coffee?
Thanks. Oatmeal.

Pour could use some more work, it was written long ago in a galaxy far far away. However, you can actually pour stuff out and when you want to give some of your beverage to a friend, you typically just let them borrow your container (presently -- I can see why, in RP, for example, you might not want to do that). This is mostly functional. The problem with really making pour (or fill for that matter) work is what happens when you combine some wine with some beer as well as coffee, water and sugar. What do you get? Well, it would really take some figuring to code that! Heck, what about salt water and beer? Well, it would depend on how much salt water and how much beer. It could probably vary in taste from very good to gross depending upon the quantities. Having the code try to figure out taste, nutritional value, quantity, color, texture, etc. when allowing people to mix things would be a LOT of work. In the end, I can see many ways that being able to do stuff like this would pay off, but I wouldn't expect it to be done any time soon. Thanks for the idea, it will continue to live here until its time comes. ;)

Best regards,
