How about a bit of an ongoing conflict RP scenario? Perhaps some evil creature posts on the board and ocassionaly sends a pack of his minions towards Turien for people to deal with.
Might drag more people into an rp mode and could be a lot of fun.
I do appreciate that this will need proper staff supervision to ensure that newbs dont suffer too much but it was just my thought on something that everyone could get involved in if it was a bit of a global rp that ran for a decent time. Also, if it was one consistent theme, various staff could quite easily pick it up and run with it when they had time.
Anyhow, just a thought. Constructive criticism always appreciated
