Topic 1: Base class level cap • There is concern that, with certain skills like dispel/disaffect/monk stun being tied to base class level, the base class level cap needs to be increased. • Nezmar initially proposed increasing the base class level cap to 300, but then decided to keep the base class level cap at 200.
Topic 2: Talismans • There is concern that, even with the increased frequency of quests, not everyone is able to participate in them. A proposal to redeem MPPs for Talisman is introduced. • Nezmar proposes that players will be able to redeem 50 MPPs plus their RFQ status for a talisman. The change would not be retroactive, so those who toggled would not be able to get their talisman back.
Topic 3: Terrains • The main new feature staff has been working on is terrains, which are zones that are setup with macros that have the ability to repeat rooms in patterns. • Nezmar’s primary focus is on dynamic terrains, these are terrains that can be created on-the-fly by macros. The current primary use-case is for new players. Staff is working on coming up with an introduction that will teach new players how to play the game. • Eventually, dynamic tasks will combine with dynamic terrains to make tasks that multiple players/groups can embark upon at the same time. This will also introduce tournaments where several people are doing tasks competitively and the slowest is knocked out. • There are currently four completed terrains with another four in the works. The new terrains will be added into the game simultaneously as soon as they are all finished.
Topic 4: Equipment rebalancing • Weapons have been rebalanced, but the changes have not been added to the game yet. • Staff want to explore adjusting the AC/Stops on equipment that loads on lower-leveled NPCs. • In addition, Nezmar wants to look at changes to the THAC0 system.
