To Nezmar and staff;

Thank you for a fun two weeks of DLDS.

It was worth coming out of retirement to see the interesting changes going on now. The macro objects were pretty cool, the globs in particular was a great idea. I have to say that I was slightly disappointed there were no NPC macro's. I think that would add alot of spice to the game. More interaction = more fun, but that's just my opinion. Overall I had a great time.

From talking with a few people I hear the new areas are something to look forward to. Some great ideas lurking that will shake things up. It's nice to see more people take an interest in where DL is going.

Best of luck to all, it's time I retire again to somewhere else instead of the fountain ;)

I was trying to confine things a bit so that it was easier to isolate problems (at least in the beginning). We actually *did* have some NPC macro stuff... bestow/invoke/teach is NPC capable. Also we could have used macros to load things (for example to load a specific set of NPCs/items) but we didn't. In the end, there just wasn't time for it. The fact of the matter is that macros are going to change lots of things in the near future, but it was a long long road to get to where we are at and there is still a lot to be done. In the end, I will concede, you are correct, we should have used macros more with NPCs, there simply wasn't time for it, the capability is absolutely there. The good news is... I suspect it won't be too long before you see this capability introduced directly into DL without another DLDS.
