DL is forever a work in progress. Over the years, you probably haven't noticed lots of the changes, though you undoubtedly have noticed many. For something like 15 years now I've written the code for DL and I have to say, from a code perspective, I've never been more excited about what DL has to offer (and as always, I still have at least 5 years of stuff left in my head yet to code...). It has been quite a while since we've had a DLDS and it is finally nearly time. This latest round of code additions will have massive implications on the game. Surely you've heard the murmurs of macros and some of the upcoming changes. I caution you, many of these things we will be testing will not be making it into the game (or they will be significantly modified) -- they are for the DLDS only. They are to test code and allow players and Staff to see some of the possibilities. That said, I think what you will see during this DLDS will be mild compared to the change you will ultimately see in the game. There is still a lot of work to do... and fun to be had. Join us for this DLDS, all characters will start at level 125. We will be awarding levels and powers and items galore.

Most likely we'll start this weekend... more details to follow.

Best regards to all,

--Nezmar

Ooh, that's kind of exciting. I'll pop in and check it out. I wonder what kind of glitches we'll witness this time. Hey Kyo! :D

Hollar for testing. I'm always happy to help with whatever I can. DLDS has always been a ton of fun. I hope that exp and regen per person is off the charts, maybe 25 per person? That would be crazy. I'm really looking forward to all the new changes to come and new zones! See ya'll there.

It's a valid question! The answer is... I don't know. Sorry.

Basically, so far, we've toyed with the macros some and found a LOT of bugs and problems we didn't know about before. Some of these have been addressed, some of these still need further work. Additionally, we've got a bit more work to do on new areas before we can go back to normal DL (unless we are going to do it without any new stuff). That is all now compounded by the fact that I actually have a job and have to actually work and do stuff. I guess I'm hoping we can finish it up this weekend but that doesn't seem very likely because I'm about to have to do some traveling for work. So, we are just going to play it by ear. If you are ready for the DLDS to be over, don't care if new stuff is going to go in and and just want regular old DL back, post here so I know how desperate people are getting. ;)

Best regards to all,

Ya, I really appreciate all the work everyone has put into this week, but no offense to anyone, I also miss playing my real character.

If everything isn't done, then leave the dream sequence up if that's easier for you. Otherwise, lets get back to some DL. The DLDS was a lot of fun. Thanks.

I'm happy with what's going on. I can wait for the real DL too get back. We all have RL duties too take care of. At least in DLDS I don't have too see Nusa AFK 22hrs out of the day... oh wait...

I do think all of us the old and new players will have enough patient to wait for the incoming new zone, new item of course the huge fun. If we dont, we will never stick with DL for so long.

Really appreciate the hard working from nezmar, amae and all builders, which created our fantastic gaming hours everyday.

Thank you :D

It looks like the DLDS will most likely end either later tonight or tomorrow.

Thank you all for your patience and assistance with testing things.

Best regards to all,
