Interesting. One could in theory kick from the ground. I remember getting a well placed kick to my groin once trying to overtake a ground fighter in martial arts. Maybe this could be added for ninja's considering most of their damage comes from kicks. I could see this being a skill for a ninja. Gives a chance for a devastating kick if they end up on the ground. Maybe even a monk, just something extra they get to do for their class. I could see a ninja kick from the ground being considerably damaging.
Speaking of ground issues. Why doesn't earthquake give a chance to knock down everyone in the room? That'd be sick. I'd use earthquake in a battle if it had a low chance the mob would fall over. Ninja's kicks should have a chance to send someone to the ground, maybe the lag time for a mob to stand from a kick would be less than a bash. Make it a skill that can be mastered that hits randomly, not something they can type. Heck, mobs stand pdq already when you bash em. Monks stun, they don't need a bash.
