It's about time an update has been performed, and honestly, the reason I've done it is rather amusing.

I was checking some stuff in the administration control panel for the forums and saw a TON of "Guest" accesses from the same IP address (all over the span of two minutes.) My interest was piqued, so of course I investigated.

Apparently the Google bots were crawling the entire forum, and because some of them said "Posting Message", I decided to disallow ANY and ALL anonymous posting. If you want to post to the forums, please register for an account. I'm sorry for doing this, but I don't want to have to crawl through tons of threads and nuke posts made by bots.

Also, in that respect, I've upgraded the forum software to the latest version. While crawling through the forum access log, I noticed it was telling me "Dude, the install is out of date. You should, uh, upgrade it." So I did. And all is peachy.
