Currently I am living back in Saint Bernard (about 5 minutes east of New Orleans), in a FEMA trailer outside of my destroyed home. No more living in a tent, yay! The only problem with this, is that there's no internet -anywhere- down there, and when that's combined with me working 70 hours per week (if not more, literally), I don't have time to do much of anything.

Right now I'm working 10 hours per day, 7 days per week, but we'll be moving down to 6 10-hour days in the near future. Even with that Sunday off, I won't be able to do much because I still have my house to rebuild.

Busy life = SEVERELY delayed updates to both the website and the code. I'm still working on DL, and I'd never give it up for the world, but things are moving at an extremely slowed pace now as reality has kicked into overdrive for me and I'm literally working nearly every waking moment. The only reason I'm able to post this is because I haven't disconnected the cable modem from my old house yet (it will be cut off tomorrow since we're moving out of this house completely) - updates may become very sporatic, but will at least happen when I get the chance.

Who knows, I might have the chance to update from my office when we get the satellite internet hooked up and things start to calm down.

Vulsin, do what you gotta do man. I only play while at work on the weekends because my job permits it. I have a builder that I choose not to work on atm because I'm busy helping everyone with what I can with my character. I hope to here good news soon of updates on your house. Keep us informed man. I may be taking some time off soon to go down there and help build with a few frieds. I'd be great if we knew someone that needed the help.

The house is coming along very well, actually. I ripped out just about all of the wiring (minus the breaker panel in the back), all but one of the rooms has been de-nailed, all sheetrock and insulation is gone and the tiles and carpet adhesive has all been removed. All that's left to remove is the AC/heater unit from the attic, one air duct that we can't quite get to from the attic and the back room has to be de-nailed. That's about a day or two's worth of work and then we can start pressure washing and killing the mold.

Other than that, I've just been working my butt off. I left the office job, but stayed with the company, and now I'm working on the barge. Rigging, welding, burning, pumping... all kinds of stuff. I was driving the crew boat for most of the day, which is a pain in the butt given all the wind

But yeah, since I left the office, updates are even more sporatic, but we're planning to get cable internet at my house soon
