After having visited what was left of my home, my spirit has been reduced to a pile of rubble not unlike my hometown.

I will still do updates to the website now that I have settled in Maryland, but they may still be delayed. I might not be spending much time online, as I have a lot of emotional trauma to recover from. I understand being around friends is a good way to do this, but I also need some 'me time' I guess you can call it.

For those who want to get a mental image of what it was like, my online journal has the grim details. The journal entry is not for the faint of heart, so beware. If you have a weak stomach and a vivid imagination, don't read it. I'm serious.

Sorry about the 'delayed update' stuff, but you guys know I'm a hardcore sucker when it comes to my word (I spent time getting these forums up and running when I should have been packing to evacuate from Katrina - that should be testament enough to my dedication to keep my word) and if I say I'm going to do it, I'm going to get it done... it just may be delayed this go around.

I also demoted the "ACHTUNG!" thread in this forum to a normal post instead of announcement. Just FYI, I guess.
