I'd just like to say a few things about distant lands. It is a very addicting mud, and it has a very friendly and close-knit player base. We are very easy to get along with, and just about every avatar is happy to help a new player. We may not have that many players here, but we sure know how to treat the people that do. I would recommend this place over any other MUD in the world. The areas are mainly unique, and we have very unique equipment! We receive skills and spells very often, leaving you wanting to level to try out a new spell.

Don't forget the GMs!

We're here to make your role-playing all that much more enjoyable. And if you're good... Well, we might just toss down an MPP for you.

What's a MPP? It's short for Multi-Purpose-Point. If you accumilate enough of these, why, you can do tons of stuff! You can change your alignment, you can increase one of your stats, like strength or dexterity, or even change from right-handed, to left-handed... Or even ambidextrous!
