Sai

Sai are of an oriental nature, and are usually used in pairs. They were once
farm instruments but were turned to weapons when the peasants were forbidden
to bear any arms. They are primarilly used to cause bludgeoning damage, but can
also be used to cause piercing damage, but are less effective since the sai
does not have a blade, but rather has a round blade-like portrusion and two
curved portrusions on either side of the center "blade" that are curved and
create a very curved "W" shape. The handle is made to accomodate only one hand,
and is about the size of a normal human hand.
