Fireshield

This high-level mage spell is a very nasty one indeed. What it
does is encase the caster in a shield of flames. When in battle this
shield will 'leap up' and attack whatever is attacking the caster.
The damage the fireshield does is relative to how much damage is
inflicted upon the caster. Also this shield of flames can and will
burn and most often destroy equipment and things of the like. Any
paper is instantly burned to ash and metals, ranging all the way
from tin to adamantium are burned and heavilly damaged, sometimes
destroyed from this nasty spell. A successful 'dispel magic' spell
will extinguish the fireshield. Another fireshield will automatically
negate the one around the caster, as will an ice shield...but the
drawback to an ice shield against fireshield is the amounts of steam
that are produced. This spell lasts an undetermined amount of time
before it must be cast again.
